The second annual Black Diamond Ball, organized by Island Cafe and benefiting AmplifyPOC was held Saturday, November 4 at the DoubleTree Hilton. Fabulous fashions and food and great music for dancing meant everyone had a fun time.

Julia and Larry Johnson. Julia is a member of the MLK Action Team’s Education Task force and currently serving as President of the Union Zion Heritage Museum. Larry is the VP of the NAACP Cape Cod Chapter.
Erica Tso Haidas with her husband Mike. Erica is also a member of MLK Action Team’s Education Task Force and she is the founder of Belonging Books (www.belongingbookscapecod.com) and an active member of the Racial Arts & Justice Collective.
Nancy and Paul Thompson, long time civil rights activists, are active with the NAACP Cape Cod chapter and are former members of the MLK Action Team.
