Last Sunday, Delilah’s Collective hosted an afternoon of program which included a showing of the film “We Still Live Here” about the amazing and recent project to revitalize the Wampanoag language ( https://www.pbs.org/independentlens/documentaries/we-still-live-here/ ), followed by a panel discussion and the sharing of a delicious clam chowder before concluding with a demonstration dance by Leonard Peters (in picture below). The collective also shared information about their new project “We in the Land Are One Thing” focusing on healing and sand mining being done here on the Cape for which they’ve received a $10,000 Changemakers Grant.
