Delilah’s Healing and Educational Collective
Working through the MLK Action Team and with community engagement Delilah’s Healing and Educational Collective seeks to amplify Wampanoag history, culture, and contemporary voices while increasing awareness of environmental harm and the need for equity in the Cape Cod region. In October of 2024 we organized and hosted a Wampanoag led health equity symposium at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans titled “We and the Land Are One Thing.” Explorations of human connections to the land led by members of the Wampanoag tribes with support from allies continue with grant funding from Provincetown’s Urvashi Vaid Changemakers and the Cape Cod Five to develop a film and puppet show over the next 2 years. We now have a website: https://www.delilahscollective.org/
