Before I move on to Montgomery, I want to share our phenomenal dining experience at the Magnolia House, which, we found out too late, has also reopened as a bed & breakfast. Recently renovated with spacious dining inside and in the yard, the menu was varied, the portions were BIG, and the food was delicious. I had a watermelon salad that could have been a meal in itself and then the vegan bowl and my friend had a crab cake with the creamiest grits she said she’d ever had. The building is important historically and was included in the Green Book many times.
