Dedicated not only to it’s namesake, Mrs. Parks, but also to the many activists and ordinary Montgomery residents who made the Montgomery Bus Boycott a successful, non violent protest against segregation.

The exhibit’s focus on the fight to end bus segregation introduced me to a number of civil rights activists I had not known about before, including Joanne Robinson and Fred Gray.
